The name “Akele” originated from my amazing father who recently passed away. He was my inspiration and biggest supporter. With his passing, I want to continue to honor his legacy. Akele Candle Affirmation products were created to help anyone struggling to get back to themselves again. Through these affirmative products, people are able to speak positivity and good vibes into their lives. Our products were designed through the pain and struggle that came along with battling depression, infertility, and endometriosis. Our goal is to give people a chance again! A chance at getting back to themselves.

This all began with going through a tramatic experience from suffering with endometriosis. Through my journey, I learned to rely on daily affirmations to get by day to day. With these affirmations, I was able to build myself back together and start my candle company Akele Candles and Essentials.
